MKE’s TOLGA and PİRANA systems hit their targets accurately. At the TURNAs-2026 exercise, the TOLGA Close Air Defense System was integrated into a warship for the first time.
During the exercise, TOLGA was used from TCG BEYKOZ against air and sea targets. This marked the system’s first use in the exercise from a warship.
TOLGA’s targets included unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned maritime vehicles. The system hit these targets accurately, while MKE’s PİRANA system was also among those reported to have hit targets with precision.
