After the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby, İsmail Kartal apologized to supporters, saying: “This is all we were able to achieve tonight. We apologize to our supporters.”
Galatasaray won the match, played on October 26, by 2-1. Victor Osimhen put the hosts 2-0 ahead in the first half with goals in the 29th and 44th minutes.
Fenerbahçe’s only goal came from İrfan Can Kahveci in the 62nd minute. The derby ended with Galatasaray leading 2-1, and Kartal said his side had managed only that much on the night before apologizing to supporters.
