Restrictions for the 15-to-18 age group are set to include the removal of continuous-scrolling features that could lead to screen addiction. The measure targets features that let users keep scrolling through content without interruption.
Users in this age group will also be prevented from recording their screens. In addition, people aged 15 to 18 will not be allowed to start live streams.
For messaging, users will be able to receive messages only from accounts they follow. The listed restrictions therefore cover four areas: continuous scrolling, screen recording, live streaming and which accounts can send incoming messages.
