A digital identity wallet that will bring together documents such as identity cards and diplomas in one place is set to be developed in Türkiye in 2027. Identity documents and diplomas are among the materials to be collected within the wallet, bringing them together in a single digital system.
Public employees will be prioritized first in the plan for the system. This priority for public employees is one of the stated elements of the digital identity wallet’s development plan.
The digital identity wallet will also be tested at a university. The plan therefore includes both developing the wallet in 2027 and testing the system at a university.
