President Erdoğan said there was no problem in Türkiye concerning press freedom or journalists. He stated that the country has hundreds of channels of every kind and that they all broadcast freely.
Erdoğan said everyone can speak their mind as long as what they say does not contain lies. He also said that different voices are welcomed, expressing his view of freedom of speech alongside that condition.
“We have no problem with either press freedom or journalists,” Erdoğan said, adding that they welcome different voices. He also stressed that everyone can say what they want as long as it does not include lies.
