Detained Tanju Özcan: “I want to be released”

Detained Tanju Özcan said that he wanted to be released. After expressing that wish, Özcan said he wanted to formally ask for a bride for his son.

Özcan described his intention to stay at home without getting involved in anything, comparing himself to a cat. “I will sit at home like a cat, keeping out of everything,” he said.

He repeated the comparison, saying: “I will sit at home like a cat and not get involved in anything.” His remarks set out three wishes: to be released, to ask for a bride for his son, and to remain at home without interfering in anything.
