Türkiye’s General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a thunderstorm and heavy-shower warning for the country’s northwest. The rain is expected to begin tomorrow morning.
The provinces where heavy rainfall is expected include Tekirdağ, İstanbul, Kocaeli and Yalova. The warning also covers Bursa, Balıkesir and Çanakkale, bringing the total number of affected provinces to seven.
The full list is Tekirdağ, İstanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, Bursa, Balıkesir and Çanakkale. The warning concerns thunderstorms and heavy showers expected in these provinces from the morning hours tomorrow.
