Two people died in separate elevator accidents in Samsun and Manisa. One person was killed in each incident.
In Samsun, a 31-year-old waiter fell to the ground from the fourth floor of a restaurant together with a food-service elevator. The waiter died in the accident.
In Manisa, a 49-year-old female worker died after a freight elevator whose cables had snapped fell to the ground. The accidents occurred in two different cities: the Samsun incident involved a food-service elevator, while the Manisa incident involved a freight elevator.
