Murat Boz said they were in the Maslak-Ayazağa area of Istanbul, near Phoenix Studios. According to Boz, the entire area was underwater and the electricity had been cut off.
Boz said he was stranded together with hundreds of workers. His account described both flooding and a power outage around the studios, with a large number of people caught in the situation.
Boz said they were waiting for urgent assistance from the authorities. He provided no further details about the extent of the flooding, when the power outage began or the status of any response teams.
