US President Donald Trump answered questions from reporters as he left the White House. He delivered remarks concerning the Russia-Ukraine war and Iran, with his comments on Ukraine focusing on President Volodymyr Zelensky and negotiations.
Trump said it might be time for Zelensky to hand responsibility for the negotiations to someone else. “Maybe it’s time for Zelensky to let someone else take over the negotiations,” Trump said, putting forward the possibility of a change in who leads them.
The US president continued his criticism of Zelensky, saying: “Zelensky doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Me...” The remarks came as Trump responded to reporters’ questions while leaving the White House.
