İsmail Kartal said his team came away from its latest Champions League match with a disappointing result. “We closed that chapter. We had to think about the Alanyaspor match,” Kartal said, describing the shift in focus to that fixture.
Kartal’s remarks centered on putting the European result behind them and concentrating on Alanyaspor. Fenerbahçe defeated Alanyaspor 3-0 in the match.
His comments outlined the team’s approach before the Alanyaspor game: after the disappointing Champions League result, their attention had to turn to the domestic fixture. The 3-0 win was the outcome of that match.
