Teams from the Financial Crimes Branch Directorate are searching the Halk TV building. While the search is underway, the channel’s live broadcast has been stopped and entrances to the building have been closed.
After a trustee was appointed to Halk TV’s management, riot police had blocked the road in front of the channel’s building with barriers. The search inside the building and the suspension of the broadcast followed those developments.
Access to the Halk TV building is closed while the search continues. The channel is also unable to continue its live broadcast.
