Erdoğan says issue in fund investigations is under control

President Erdoğan said the operation related to the fund investigations was being carried out with great care. Comparing the process to the precision of a surgeon, he said the matter was being handled through determined, careful and sensitive steps.

Erdoğan said the aim was to resolve the issue in the fairest possible way. “We are conducting the operation with the precision of a surgeon. With determined, careful and sensitive steps, we are resolving the matter in the fairest way possible,” he said.

The president also said the issue had been brought under control through determined steps taken since September 17. “With the determined steps we have taken since September 17, we brought the issue under control,” Erdoğan said, linking the progress he described to the actions taken from that date onward.
