Sedat Peker’s father died 24 years ago today. In a conversation with his father when Peker was 24, he spoke about the idea that good deeds and evil deeds are never forgotten.
“I can swear that the good deeds done in the world will never be forgotten, and that the evil deeds will never, ever be forgotten,” Peker said in the conversation.
Peker was 24 at the time of the conversation, and 24 years have now passed since his father’s death. He said he could swear that good deeds would not be forgotten, using the emphasis “never, ever” when referring to evil deeds.
