Customs teams seize smuggled goods and drugs worth 91.72 billion lira in nine months

Turkish Trade Ministry Customs Enforcement teams conducted 4,890 operations targeting smuggled goods and drugs during the first nine months of 2026. The total value of the goods and narcotics seized in the January-September period was 91 billion 720 million lira.

The figure represents the combined value of the smuggled goods and drugs confiscated over those nine months. The operation count covers the enforcement actions carried out during the same period.

In total, seizures made in the 4,890 operations conducted by Customs Enforcement teams between January and September 2026 were valued at 91.72 billion lira. The announced amount covers both smuggled goods and drugs.
