In Kırıkkale, an unlicensed driver noticed a traffic inspection, got out of the vehicle and tried to walk away. After the driver left the car, the person in the passenger seat took the wheel.
The incident was recorded by a drone. The footage showed the driver getting out after spotting the inspection and the passenger moving into the driver’s seat. The driver was unlicensed.
Following the incident, the driver and the vehicle owner were fined a total of 80,000 Turkish lira. The combined amount was given as 80,000 lira; no separate amount for either person was specified.
