A middle school girl in Adana injured a friend with a bread knife she had brought from home, saying, “You gossiped about me.” The student who was hurt sustained a minor injury to the arm.
The injured student was taken to hospital as a precaution. Although the wound to the student’s arm was minor, the hospital visit was made for precautionary purposes.
The girl who injured her friend was taken by police officers to the Children’s Branch Directorate. Following the incident, the injured student was taken to hospital, while the student who used the knife was taken to the police unit responsible for children.
