Martı issued a statement concerning taxi drivers allegedly setting up TAG drivers so that traffic officers would issue them fines. The company said it would cover the fines imposed on TAG drivers in connection with the issue.
In its statement, Martı said: “The fines of all TAG drivers are being covered.” The company’s announcement therefore addressed fines imposed on TAG drivers, without limiting the commitment to a specific number of drivers.
Martı also said it would identify the people who made fake calls and file criminal complaints against them. The company’s stated response thus includes both covering TAG drivers’ fines and pursuing legal complaints against those responsible for the calls.
