In 60 seconds: 38,000 non-physician hires and 2,000 places for flood-hit provinces

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said recruitment announcements for 38,000 non-physician staff would be issued before the end of 2026. He made the announcement while speaking at a mass groundbreaking and opening ceremony at the Çapa campus of Istanbul University Hospital.

A quota for 2,000 people under the Public Works Program was allocated to provinces affected by floods. The allocation is designated for provinces impacted by flooding.

Osman Gazi, Türkiye’s first floating production platform, was also dispatched from Filyos Port to its duty location in the Sakarya Gas Field. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar spoke at the ceremony held for the platform’s departure.
