Heavy rain that has been affecting Bartın for two days has raised the flow of Arıt Creek. As the water level increased, the creek came close to overflowing.
Some agricultural land in the village has been inundated. The effects of the downpour are visible both in the rising water of Arıt Creek and in the flooding of parts of the village’s farmland.
The sequence is clear: two days of heavy rain, a rise in the creek’s flow, and water covering some agricultural areas in the village. The creek neared the point of overflowing, while some farmland was left underwater.
