Evacuations continue in two rain-hit neighborhoods in Sakarya

Heavy rain in Sakarya has left two neighborhoods underwater. Evacuation operations are continuing in the affected neighborhoods as residents are moved out of the flooded areas.

Around 250 households have been affected in the area. Crews are opening channels to carry the accumulated water into stream beds.

The channels are being opened to direct the water toward the stream beds, while evacuation efforts continue. Both the evacuation operations and the work to transfer the water are ongoing in the affected area.
